Apex Marine iwas established in Ft Lauderdale, FL in June of 2009. The founder, Issy Perera, has been a boating enthusiast all of his life and retired from the corporate world in 2007. He was intrigued by the business opportunity created when the former Allied Marine facility in Ft. Lauderdale became available. A plan was developed and implemented to turn the facility into a full service boat yard that would handle any make or type of yacht, and that more importantly would EXCEED the expectations of the most exacting yacht owner or captain.
After a succesful two year run in Ft Lauderdale, Apex Marine is now taking over the former Allied Marine facility in Stuart as well and expanding its geographic reach to better serve its customers.
Having been a boat owner most of his life and having many friends that are also yacht owners, Issy knew first hand what he and his friends as customers expected from a marine repair and maintenance facility. Said Issy, "Every customer wants to feel and be treated like they are the most important customer in the world. They want the work to be completed right the first time and when it was promised, and they expect their yacht to be returned to them clean and in perfect working conditions. They also want to deal with knowledgeable people that are courteous and deliver what they promise."
