Issy Perera

Issy has been a boating enthusiast all his life and has owned many boats and yachts through the years.  He retired from the corporate world five years ago, after having taken a business engaged in customer service that was doing $40 M in annual revenues with 650 employees, and growing it in four years to $500 M in annual revenues and 5,000 employees.  Prior to that he was the COO of a publicly traded company with over $1 Billion in revenues.

Issy has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami, an MBA from Florida International University, and a Master of Science degree from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.

Issy has been married to his first mate Jill for over 39 years, and have two kids and six grandchildren, who get to go in boat trips throughout the Bahamas every summer.
